SB202190, also named FHPI, under the IUPAC name 4-
[4-(4-fluorophenyl)-5-pyridin-4-yl-1,3-
dihydroimidazol-2-ylidene]cyclohexa-2,5-dien-1-one,
is a pyridinyl imidazole that selectively inhibits
the p38α and β isoforms.
IC50 = 50 and 100 nM at SAPK2a/p38 and SAPK2b/p38β2
respectively.
A highly selective, potent and cell-permeable
inhibitor of p38 MAP kinase(IC50 = 50 and 100 nM at
